Description
Catalogs or booklets are multi-page documents, printed on an offset or digital printing press, and bound together into a single unit. They may or may not use the same stock for the pages as they do for the covers (called “self-cover”). A variety of paper stocks, finishes and binding options are available:
Stocks:
- 100# gloss text
- 80# gloss text
- 100# gloss cover
- 80# gloss cover
- 70# offset text paper
- 60# offset text paper
- 20# bond paper
- 14pt uncoated cover (for exterior only)
Standard paper finishes:
- Uncoated
- low-gloss Satin AQ coating
- semi-gloss AQ coating
- high-gloss UV coating (14pt covers only)
Binding options:
- Saddle-stitched (staples)
- Velobind*
- Comb binding*
- Spiral/coil binding*
* – minimum page count applies, varies by stock used
Standard sizes that booklets can be produced in include 5.5″ x 8.5″ (half sheet), 8.5″ x 11″ (full sheet) and 6″ x 9″, but custom sizes can also be produced, please contact us with your project details for a quote!
Note that all saddle-stitched booklets must have pages with multiples of 4, including the covers. Any projects with pages that are not a multiple of 4 will have blank pages added to fulfill this requirement.
